Add Advertisement

An Advertisement is information published in a publication or other media that is designed to draw attention to a product or service. Add an advertisement when you want to display that advertisement in a publication or other media.

This topic covers using the Add-Advertisement page to add an advertisement.

Adding an Advertisement

  1. Go to Modules > Advertising > Advertisers > Find, List, Add, Query Advertiser > Advertiser Profile > Advertisements Tab > advertisement detail child form. Click the Add button. The Add-Advertisement page opens.
  2. Fill in the fields according to the table below:

    ad titleRequired Enter the ad title.
    ad locationRequired Select, from the drop-down list, the location where you will create the ad.
    show online?OptionalSelect this check box if you want this ad to be visible on eWeb.
    from dateOptionalSelect or enter the date the ad should begin to show on eWeb.
    through dateOptionalSelect or enter the date the ad should stop showing on eWeb.
    short descriptionOptionalEnter the text only version of the ad.
    html descriptionOptionalUse the Cute Editor or html code to create an html version of the ad.
  3. Click the Save button to save your changes and return to the Advertiser Profile page. The newly added advertisement detail is now visible on the advertisement detail child form. Click the Cancel button to return to the Advertiser Profile page without saving your changes.
