Find Award Stages
Use Find Find Award Stages to search for Award Stages already in your database. Award Stage information is stored in the database by the fields completed in the Add - Award Stage/Round page. When using the Find - Award Stage page, you search for a desired Award Stage using information stored in the database via these fields. Search results you view on the List – Award Stage page display in columns, and each column of search results corresponds to a data field. Only a limited, pre-defined set of columns pertaining to Award Stages are available to you on the Find – Award Stage page.
Find
- To search for Award Stages already in your association's database, go to Modules>Awards > Stages > Find Award Stages. The Find - Award Stage page opens.
- For a more specific search, click the Advanced View check box. Expanded Boolean search options appear for each search criteria field. Use these search options to narrow your search results further.
- Click Go. A list of search results displays in the List - Award Stage page. If only one result comes of the search, the profile page for that result opens.
Note: The more specific you make search criteria, the narrower the results returned will be. A search for Stage Codes beginning with "1" returns more results than a search for Stage Codes beginning with "stage 1". And a search for all records with a stage code starting with a "1" will produce more results than a search of stage codes starting with a "1" with a specific Award Name.
Find vs. Query
The Find page is setup with a pre-defined set of columns (fields) versus a Query which allows you to select from any column in the search Table.
