General Tab
The General Tab has the following four child forms:
- interests
- region
- zones
- customer positions
Child Forms
Interests
The Interests child form allows you to associate interests to an Advocacy Issue.
Expanding the Interests child form will display all of the interests currently associated to this Advocacy Issue.
Clicking the Add icon will open the Add - Advocacy Interest form to allow you to add a new interest.
The Interests available correspond to the Interest list available on the Individual Profile. This will allow you to query individuals on their interests to alert them to Advocacy Issues that they may be interested in.
Note: Interests related to an Advocacy Issue will create and implicit interest for individuals who take action on the issue.
Regions
The Regions child form allows you to associate geographic regions to an Advocacy Issue.
Expanding the Regions child form will display all of the regions currently associated to this Advocacy Issue.
Clicking the Add icon will open the Add - Advocacy Issue Region form to allow you to add a new region.
Assigning a Region to an Advocacy Issue will allow you to query individuals in the same region as the issue and notify them if applicable.
Zones
The Zones child form allows you to associate geographic zones to an Advocacy Issue.
Expanding the Zones child form will display all of the zones currently associated to this Advocacy Issue.
Clicking the Add icon will open the Add - Advocacy Issue Zone form to allow you to add a new zone.
Assigning a Zone to an Advocacy Issue will allow you to query individuals in the same zone as the issue and notify them if applicable.
Customer Positions
The customer position child form allows you to track customers and their positions on this issue. Expanding the Customer Positions child form, shows all the tracked customers and whether they are For, Against, or Undecided on this issue. Clicking the Add icon opens the Add — Issue Tracking window so that you can track information such as contact name, position, and date contacted about this particular advocacy issue.
