Committees

If the individual is a member of one or more committees, those committees display under the committees child form. The Committee Participation child form displays all committee participation records, both current and historical. netFORUM shows participation records whether the committee is currently active or not. There are two actions you can perform from the committees child form: add the individual to a committee using the add icon, or launch a report using the export icon.

The Active flag

The Active flag on the committees child form is automatic; it is checked if the Committee Participant End Date is null or in the future. It does not change based on the Committee record. So an Individual might be marked active in a committee that is no longer active.

If you wish to see only an individual's current assignments, you can click the Active header to sort the active participation records to the top.

Note: To get an accurate view of the individual's current participation by deleting inactive committees, you must terminate all individuals who were a part of a committee that is now defunct.
