Adding an Event to a Course

When your course is part of an Event certification track (or just part of an Event CEU credit), you are able to keep track of the various events that your course is part of on the event child form. To keep track of your courses in the offered Event tracks, add the event to your course.

To add an Event, use the following steps:

  1. Go to Modules>Certification>Course>Find, Query, or Add Course>Course Profile>Offerings Tab>event child form.
  2. Click the Add button. The Add - Course Event page opens.
  3. Select the event to associate with this course from the drop-down list of existing events in the event field.

    Note: You see only existing events in the drop-down list. If you want to associate your course with a new event, add that event through the Event module first, then add it to your course.

  4. Select a session of the event to associate with this course in the session field.
  5. Click the Save button to save your changes and return to the course profile. Click the Cancel button to return to the course profile without saving your changes.
