Organization Settings Account Level Security

This tab is opened by default when the Organization Settings form displays and Account Level Security is selected to the left.

The Account Level Security tab allows you to activate account level security for your organization.

Account Level Security is addressed by the system at three levels:

  • Organization Level: Activate the account level security and designate to allow or deny access
  • Segment Level: Select segments that require account level security
  • User Level: Enable the account level security on specific users and set the appropriate account codes
  • Account Access: Grant or restrict acdess to accounts in Manage Users > Account Level Security or Manage User Group > Account Level Security

If Account Level Security is set up on this page, it will not be effective unless the individual user is selected on the User Record.

Organization Level

Activate Account Level Security: Check the box to activate account level security for the organization.

Account Access

Allow Access to Accounts: Select this option if you want to allow account access

Deny Access to Accounts: Select this option if you want to deny account access

Print Account Level Security Disclaimer on Reports: Check the box to print an account level security disclaimer on all reports

Segment Level

Select which segments you want to have account level security.
