Where do I enter the tax table information?

We store the tax table information for federal and state taxes as part of the program code, so there is no need to manually enter the information. When there are rate changes, watch the Downloads portion of the website for the latest tax update.

How is the Equivalent Hourly Rate calculated?

The Equivalent Hourly Rate is calculated from the Salaried Amount times the pay cycle to yield an annual amount. The annual amount is divided 2080 hours in year to compute the Equivalent Hourly Rate.

Can I change the Equivalent Hourly Rate to a different amount?

Yes. Select the Equivalent Hourly Rate box on the Job and Pay tab of the Maintain>Employee Information and enter the desired rate.

How do I input beginning balances for employees?

Use the Activities>Setup/Adjust Employee Balances form to enter your balance information when starting to use the Payroll module.
