Email Error Log

Overview

These records are added with an email gets a failure in Communicate and other areas of netFORUM.

These records are displayed in the outbound errors child form, in the Correspondence tab on the Individual profile page.

These records are added by processes, not directly by a user.

Finding Records

2008.01 and Later

Beginning with the 2008.01 release, you can access the E-Mail Error Log group item link from the Admin module, Group Item Overflow Menu, select E-Mail Error Log. Within this group item are links for Find, Query and List.

2007.01 and Earlier

Before 2008.01, these records are accessed from the outbound errors child form, in the Correspondence tab, on the Individual profile page. To find these records, you can write a Query from Individual. You will need to use a Sub-Query against the Email Error table as shown in the nearby image. In the query conditions in the sub-query, you may query against send date or any other fields. From the query results, you will get a list of individuals who have email errors. You can navigate through the list and view each error from the child form. It is not possible to output the error message itself in the query.
