Finding a Batch
There are multiple ways to locate a record using the Find page (for detailed methods on how to locate records, see the Find page). The Find functionality is universal throughout NetForum . The results will display in a List page, which is also universal throughout NetForum.
The Batch information is stored in the database by the columns or fields you selected during the Add Batch process. Only a predefined set of columns pertaining to Batches will be available to you on the Find - Batch page.
Find vs. Query
The Find page is setup with a predefined set of columns (fields) versus a Query which allows you to select from ANY column in the search Table.
Navigating to the Batch Profile
There are two ways to navigate to the Batch Profile page:
- Go to the Accounting Module.
- On the Overview page, click the Batches link (or icon). The Find - Batch page will display
OR
- Go to the Accounting Module.
- Expand the Batch group item located on the left-navigation bar.
- Select the Find Batch or List Batches group item link.
Tip: Using a consistent naming convention for your batches will make it much easier to locate the one you are looking for.
