Find Credit

Use Find Credit to search for Credits already in your database. Credit information is stored in the database by the fields completed in the Add-Credit page. When using the Find - Credit page, you search for a desired Credit using information stored in the database via these fields. Search results viewed on the List Credit page display in columns, and each column of search results corresponds to a data field. Only a limited, pre-defined set of columns pertaining to Credits are available to you on the Find Credit page.

Find

  1. To search for Credits already in your association's database, go to Modules>Accounting>Credit>Find Credit. The Find - Credit page opens.
  2. For a more specific search, click the Advanced View check box. Expanded Boolean search options appear for each search criteria field. Use these search options to narrow your search results further.
  3. Click Go. A list of search results displays in the List - Refund page. If only one result comes of the search, the profile page for that result opens.

Note: The more specific you make search criteria, the narrower the results returned will be. A search for a Customer Sort Name beginning with "F" returns more results than a search for a Customer Sort Name beginning with "Full." And a search for a Customer Sort Name beginning with "T" returns more results than a search for a Payment Method and a Customer Sort Name beginning with "T."

Find vs. Query

Most Finds and Queries in NetForum are run in CRM. The Find page is setup with a pre-defined set of columns (fields) versus a Query which allows you to select from any column in the search Table.

Tip: If you are not sure what you are looking for, use the NetForum wild card character, the percent sign (%), to help you with your search.
