CVVMatchResponseCodes | Note:
BluePay provides a response code for a credit card CVV number when a credit card authorization is attempted. Depending on the CVV response code, NetForum determines if the CVV is a valid match. If the match is not valid, then NetForum voids the authorization. Use the PaymentProcessCVV system option to choose if the CVV code is required or optional for credit card purchases. BluePay provides eight codes, and by default, NetForum identifies two of those codes. You can use this Merchant Account Code to configure what NetForum does in response to the six CVV response codes that are undefined. For more Information, see the Configuring BluePay's CVVMatchResponseCodes Setting topic. |
M;P;_ Note: CVV Response code "_" is for test environment only. This is required (with the underscore as the final value) because of the way BluePay's test environment works with CVV. BluePay let the test requests specify what CVV code to return in the response by putting the desired CVV code into address line 2. But NetForum does not pass address line 2, so the BluePay test environment will always return "_" as CVV code which is their code for "CVV not sent/processed". So "_" should be added as an acceptable CVV code on test systems or all credit card transactions will fail on CVV code. |
Mode |
NetForum provides two environments for payment. |
Test and Live Note: Test environment is optional for a test site. For a live merchant account, the mode setting is required and should be Live environment. |
