Add Advertising Agency

An Advertising Agency is an organization that prepares advertisements for distribution to the public. Add an agency when your advertiser wants to use an agency to produce advertising materials.

To add an Agency, use the following steps:

  1. Go to Modules>Advertising>Agencies>Add Agency. The Add-Agency page opens.
  2. Fill in the fields for the Agency Name & Address Information section as described in the table below:

    Enter the first few letters of the organization name and select your organization from the list of matches or click the look up button to search the List - Organization page. Once you select an agency, the organization information fills in the fields below.

    Note: The agency must be an organization and must already have an organization record in NetForum in order for the lookup feature to work. If no record exists, you must create the organization record before adding the agency.

    address Optional The address field populates with the primary address for the agency. If this agency has more than one address, you can choose a different address from the drop-down list.
    address type Required Select the address type, such as work, home, or holiday, from the drop-down list.
    attention Optional Enter the name of the individual who should receive correspondence for the agency.
    address lines Optional Enter up to three lines of address information.
    city/state/zip Optional Enter the city. Select the state from the drop-down list. Enter the zip.
    county/district Optional Enter the county and then enter the congressional district.
    province Optional Enter the international province.
    mailstop Optional Enter the four-digit code after the zip code in a US postal address.
    country Optional Select a country from the drop-down list.
  4. Fill in the fields for the Contact Information section as described in the table below:

    phone Optional Select a phone number from the drop-down list.
    fax Optional Select a fax number from the drop-down list.
    email Optional Select an email address from the drop-down list.
  6. Click the Save button to add your agency and go to the new agency's profile. Click the Cancel button to return to the previous page without saving your changes.

You can use the following icons on the Add-Agency page:

edit icon to open an edit page for that field.
add icon to add a new record for that field.
look up icon to see a list of individuals, customers, or other appropriate person records select the record you want to return to the wizard. The fields are populated with the person's information.
