Add Awards

Add an Award record to your database whenever you want to store awards and award information in NetForum. If an award has an entry or sponsorship fee associated with it, NetForum creates an invoice when an award is sponsored and an entrant has submitted an entry.

To add an Award, use the following steps:

  1. Go to Modules>Awards>Awards>Add Award. The Awards Information page opens.
  2. Use the descriptions in the table below to enter information:

    award type Required Select the type of award that is to be given.
    award name Required Enter a name for the award.
    committee Optional Select the committee that this award is connected to.
    award application start date Optional Select or enter the date when you will start taking applications for the award.
    award application end date Optional Select or enter the date when you will stop taking applications for the award.
    award winner announcement date Optional Select or enter the date when you will announce the winner of the award.
    description Optional Enter the description for this award.
    post to web Optional Select or enter the date when you will post the award to the web.
    remove from web Optional Select or enter the date when you will remove the award from the web.
  4. Click the Save button to save the new award and go to the new Award Profile. Click the Cancel button to return to the previous page without saving your changes.
