Find Individual Designation

Use Find Individual Designation to search for Individual Designations already in your database. When using the Find - Individual Designation page, you search for a desired Individual Designation using information stored in the database. Search results viewed on the List Individual Designation page display in columns, and each column of search results corresponds to a data field. Only a limited, pre-defined set of columns pertaining to Individual Designation are available to you on the Find Individual Designation page.

Find Individual Designation

  1. To search for Individual Designations already in your association's database, go to Modules>Certification>More...>Find Individual Designation> Individual Designation>Find Individual Designation. The Find - Individual Designation page opens.
  2. For a more specific search, click the Advanced View check box. Expanded Boolean search options appear for each search criteria field. Use these search options to narrow your search results further.
  3. Click Go. A list of search results displays in the List - Individual Designation page. If only one result comes of the search, the edit page for that result opens.

Note: The more specific you make search criteria, the narrower the results returned will be. A search for a Customer Sort Name beginning with "F" returns more results than a search for a Customer Sort Name beginning with "Full." And a search for all records with a certain Year produces more results than a search of Customer Sort Names starting with a "T" with a specific Year.

Find vs. Query

Most Finds and Queries in NetForum are run in CRM. The Find page is setup with a pre-defined set of columns (fields) versus a Query which allows you to select from any column in the search Table.

If you are not sure what you are looking for, use the NetForum wildcard character, the percent sign (%), to help you with your search.
