Module Overview Page

Each NetForum module has an Overview page.

Main Content Area

The main content area of the Overview pages contain the Overview and Setup sections.

The Overview section of the main content area has short cut icons to common actions. Fore example, the CRM Overview has links to Find an Individual, Add an Individual, Add Request, Find an Organization, and Add an Organization.

The Setup section of the main content area has links to pages were you can set up the module drop-down lists and system options.

Overview pages have three navigation areas. These areas are the top, left and right navigation areas.

Top Navigation

The top navigation bar contains icons that will allow you to perform various actions such as launch Online Help.

The options available to you in the top navigation bar are:

  • Refresh Session - Clicking the Abila logo will refresh your NetForum session and eliminate any stored values.
  • Module Menu - Clicking the Module Menu tab will expand the Module Menu and allow you to choose which NetForum module in which you wish to work.
  • Clicking the Recent Records tab will expand your Recent Records list which contains shortcuts to recently viewed individuals and organizations. Recently viewed Chapters do not show up in the Recent Records menu.
  • Favorites - Clicking the Favorites tab will expand your Favorites list and display any stored favorites you might have. Favorites can be used to add shortcuts to areas of NetForum that you use on a regular basis.
  • Search - Allows you to enter search criteria and click the Find icon to locate objects within NetForum.
  • Interface Color Selector - Clicking the interface color selector icon expands a list of available colors. Clicking on a color will change your interface to match the selected color.
  • Help - Clicking the Help icon expands the Help menu which provides hyperlinks to various areas of online help as well as a hyperlink to view information about the version of NetForum you are logged into.
  • Personal Preferences - Clicking this drop-down icon will expand a menu providing options to manage your personal information and preferences within NetForum.

Left Navigation

The left navigation area contains all of the group items for the module. Clicking a group item will name will expand that menu to display all of the action items available. Clicking an action item will display the appropriate page.

Clicking the group item name again will close that menu. The Group Item Links menu can also be expanded and collapsed by clicking the Hide Sidebar icon.

Right Navigation

The right navigation area contains additional helpful links. For instance, the CRM Overview has links for COMMON CRM QUERIES and OPEN ASSIGNMENTS.

The right navigation area will vary based on the module type you are working with. For instance, the Events Overview right navigation area shows upcoming events while the Marketing Overview right navigation area shows recently added templates.

Navigating to a Module Overview Page

To go to a Module Overview page:

  1. Click the Modules Menu tab to expand the Module Menu..
  2. Click the name of the module or the corresponding icon to go to the Module Overview page for that module.
