The integration that Abila and Zarca have developed allows the iWeb user to easily 'push' a list of individuals to the Zarca survey application.

NetFORUM/ZARCA Integration Instructions

Summary of steps:

1. Log into Zarca and create a survey
2. Set up netFORUM system option for Zarca login and password
3. Send records to Zarca
4. Invite the list to fill out the online survey

Log Into Zarca

When customer purchases Zarca survey tool, a login and password will be given to access the site.

1. Visit the Zarca Site at: http://www.zarca.com
2. Click on the user login icon on the upper right hand corner.

   Demo Login Information

Create a Survey in Zarca

1. Go to the dropdown box on top of the page and select request package
2. Go to the request new survey tab and select 1 and submit.

   It will then go back to the main page and highlight the new survey you have just created.

3. Click on Settings to setup the survey name, welcome message and other settings.
4. To make a survey anonymous, you will click the check box in the setting screen.

   If a survey is setup as anonymous, the reporting tool will never reveal the email address that responded to the survey.

5. Click on Edit to create questions. This is pretty self explanatory and our customers should be able to do this. If they have questions about setting up surveys, they should consult Zarca.

   Once all questions have been setup, our customers might want to set rules for some of the questions. This is in the Edit page of the survey.

Rules for Questions

A question can have the following rules:

Pre[Read Only]

This option means the answer to the question will be populated with some value and it will be read only when users fill out the survey.

For example, you might want the last name of the user to be populated and read only during the survey.

Pre{Editable]

This option manes the answers to the question will be populated with some value and it will allow the web user to edit.

For example, you can pre-populate the job title but allow the web users to change.

Pre[Hidden]

This option allows the value to be pre-populated but the web user will not see on the survey.

Note: You need to have at least 1 question that has the rule for netFORUM/Zarca integration to work.

Activate a Survey

1. Go to the survey manager, select the service and click on “Dates”.
2. Define the expiration date and submit.

   This will activate the survey. It will now appear in the home page upon login.

Set Up netFORUM System Option for Zarca Login and Password

1. Go to netFORUM, admin tab and select system options.
2. Search for %zarca% in the system option. Two records are returned.

   You can set up the login and password in these system options. These values are used to log into Zarca in the integration.

Send Zarca Survey Invitation

To send a Zarca Survey Invitation, complete the following steps:

1. Use netFORUM to get a list of individuals. This can be through the List, Find, Query, etc. functions.
2. Click the Zarca icon.
3. Click the Send Zarca Survey Invitation link found in the Zarca list item.
4. Select the survey you wish to invite the individuals to participate in from the Survey dropo-down menu.
5. Click the Send Zarca Survey Invitation button. The invite will be sent.
