Member Renewal Process Profile

A Member Renewal Process is created for every membership that is enrolled in automatic renewal. You can activate automatic renewal for new members during their initial membership purchase or add it to existing members from their Membership Profile pages.

Member Renewal Process Profile Information

The Member Renewal Process Profile displays the following information:

Field Description
processing mode

Displays the mode in which NetForum is currently processing the renewal. NetForum processes renewals in the following modes:

  • Select: The initial step, NetForum has received the records but has not processed them yet.
  • Update: NetForum has received the records and has started running the renewal.
renewal batch code Displays the user-entered code of the batch NetForum will use to renew this membership.
expire date from The user-selected date that starts the date range to check.
expire date through The user-selected date that ends the date range to check.

The Billing section of the Member Renewal Process Profile displays the following information:

Field Description
proforma? Displays Yes or No. The default is Yes.
renewal invoice batch The accounting batch in which to add the renewal invoices
invoice date Displays the batch date for this invoice.
invoice terms Displays the user-selected terms of this invoice.

The Scheduling section of the Member Renewal Process Profile displays the following information:

Columns Description
task type Displays the user-selected type of task.
run task datetime Displays the date and time that the task is scheduled to run.
status Displays the status of the task.
notify template Displays the full name of the template NetForum will use for the notify e-mail.
notify e-mail Displays the email address that NetForum sends a notification to when the notify conditions are met.

Gives you the following conditions to meet before NetForum sends a notification email:

on start?

on success?

on completion with errors?

on failure?

Member Renewal Process Actions

You can perform the following actions from the Member Renewal Process Profile:

  • Run a renewal process report
  • View Task Progress
  • Stop Task
  • Remove records with no renewal invoice
