Report Security

This document will cover how to set the link security for Reports for Report Central.

Note: There is no security on Form Links. The assumption is that if the user can access the form, they are allowed to click the form links.

To apply security to report links, use the following steps:

  1. Go To the Admin Content Group from the Global Menu.
  2. Choose Report Setup from the Overview Page.
  3. Choose the Report from the List.
  4. Scroll down to the Group Item Links child form. Click the GOTO arrow to edit the Link Profile.
  5. Scroll Down to the bottom of the Edit Group Link to the Privileged Groups child form. Expand by clicking on the double arrow. All Users in any of the Groups in this child form will have access to this link, which enables them to run the report.
  6. Click the Add button to add a security group.
  7. To add a new group, choose the Group from the Group field drop-down and click Save.
  8. To deny access, click the delete next to the security group you do not want to have access to the report.
  9. Have the user refresh their session to see the updates.
