Placing Group Item Links on the Help menu
The Group Item Link framework can be used to display a link in the Help menu. This might be useful if you want to your users to link to a help page that is in a different system.
For a Group Item Link to function in the Help menu
- The help link? check box on the Add Group Item Link form is selected.
- The link opens an internal NetForum website file.
- The value entered in the link path box must be the complete website URL to the link destination.

Suppose you have a set of procedures that you want your users to follow when they add purchase orders. You've created a custom directory called help to hold all custom procedures pages for your association, and POProcedures.html is a file in this directory.
To create a link to POProcedures.html from the Help menu, complete the Group Item Link form as follows
Now, your users can directly access the procedures in the Purchase Orders Group Item in the Inventory module by clicking Help > Purchase Order Procedures.
