Case Profile

Once you add a Case as the third step in the Case Management workflow, you create a Case Profile. The Case Profile allows you to manage all the information about a case in one place.

Using the Edit Button

To edit the case category code and description, click the Edit button as highlighted below. The Edit - Case Category pop-up window will appear, allowing you to edit the category code and category description.

Using the Child Forms

The Case Profile contains several child form tabs to help you manage aspects of the Case. These child forms tabs are the following:

  • Activity
  • Details
  • Logs

Once you open a child form, you can see several icons that perform various actions when clicked. They are:

Icons Actions
expand/close icon to expand or close a child form.
goto record icon to view that record's profile page.
add icon to add a new record to the child form.
edit icon to edit a record on the child form.
delete icon to delete a record on the child form.
grandchild form icon to expand or close a grandchild form.
  new window icon to open a child form in a new window.
  more info icon to see more information about the a record on the child form.
  linked headings to sort the records.
  refresh the data in the form.
  export the data to a quick report for download.
