Browser compatibility

Abila strives to support netFORUM in the most recent releases of major browsers. Generally, netFORUM supports the most recent releases of Firefox, Chrome and Safari (Mac only). For Internet Explorer (IE), netFORUM will generally support the most recent version of IE as well as one version back.

We make a greater priority to support older versions of IE given the user base of eWeb.

If you encounter issues in netFORUM with a particular browser, please report them to us so we can address them.

iWeb

2010 and Newer

Beginning with netFORUM 2010.01, iWeb is compatible with Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome, and FireFox for general application use. Going forward, Abila will support the two most recent major releases of each of these browsers, and users should also keep their browsers up to date with recent patches and incremental upgrades. In addition, certain toolkit features are only available in Internet Explorer.

2009 and earlier

For versions of netFORUM prior to 2010, iWeb (internal staff application) is compatible only with Internet Explorer, and preferably IE7 or IE8. See Internet Explorer Settings for recommended browser settings.

Beginning with netFORUM 2010, iWeb is compatible with Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome, and FireFox for general application use. Going forward, Avectra will support the two most recent major releases of each of these browsers, and users should also keep their browsers up to date with recent patches and incremental upgrades. In addition, certain Toolkit features are only available in Internet Explorer (see IE Only Features below).

2013

iWeb is compatible with Internet Explorer 10 and 11, Safari, Chrome, and FireFox for general application use.

eWeb

Baseline netFORUM eWeb (external website for members, prospects and the public) supports Internet Explorer (IE9 and newer, IE8 for critical issues only), and the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

Browser/Server Issues

Internet Explorer 10

For premise-based clients who are hosting their own netFORUM site, be sure your web servers are up to date.
