Private Cloud

If you are using Nonprofit Online, you can remotely log on to MIP using the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client (RDC). The RDC allows you to connect and create a secure channel to the Private Cloud using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) Signing. The RDC automatically redirects resources, such as drive mappings located on your local computer, so that you have access to them from the Private Cloud. The RDC also enables remote application publishing - this allows it to appear like an application is running on your local computer, even though it is actually running remotely on the Private Cloud.

Saving Data in the Private Cloud

When saving files that are generated by MIP, you need to save the files to your local computer, in order to access them, using the \\TS Client\<drive letter> directory structure. Pay careful consideration to the location when saving your files. If you save them to the Private Cloud, you will be unable to access them in the future.
