Reconfigure MIP Fund Accounting Internal Driver to Use a Local Port
Printing to PDF has been know to cause program to crash when using the following Operating System: Windows 7, SP 1 with Office 2010. Follow steps below to reconfigure MIP Fund Accounting Internal Driver to use a Local Port (any name):
- Start > Devices and Printers
- Right-click MIP Fund Accounting Internal Driver, choose Printer Properties
- Click the Ports tab
- Note that the printer is currently on LPT1
- Click Add Port button
- Select Local Port, click New Port button
- Type Amyuni in the text field, OK
- Verify the MIP Fund Accounting Internal Driver has a checkmark by Amyuni
- Print to PDF will now function properly
- After applying solution, exit and re-open MIP Fund Accounting workstation for changes to take effect
