Gateway Error Log Profile
Use the Gateway Error Profile to see the details of the line items in a Gateway error.
Gateway Error Log Profile Information
The Gateway Error Log Profile displays the following information:
Fields | Description |
---|---|
Customer | Displays the full name of the customer who initiated the payment. |
Order code | Displays the order number for an order that used the stored payment method. |
Gateway error code | Displays the error code generated by the Gateway. |
Gateway error message | Displays the error message generated by the Gateway. |
NetForum error message |
Displays the NetForum error message. This displays the error message returned from the payment gateway for the stored payment method. If NetForum receives a status of Invalid from a payment gateway, such as Vantiv, Sage, or Paypal, then it displays the following message and stops attempting to pass this payment information to the gateway: "An electronic payment could not be processed because the linked payment information in the ' + [apm_type] + ' has a status of Invalid." If NetForum receives a status of Failing from a payment gateway, such as Vantiv, Sage, or Paypal, and the next retry date is still in the future, then it displays the following message and stops attempting to pass this payment information to the gateway: "An electronic payment could not be processed because the linked payment information in the ' + [apm_type] + ' has a status of Failing and the next retry date is mm/dd/yyyy." |
Gateway | Displays the name of the Gateway. |
Payment method | Displays the payment method. |
Merchant account | Displays your organization's account with the Gateway. |
