Copy Event

Save time by using elements of an existing Event to create a new Event.

New Event Information

When you click the Copy Event link on the Add Event page, The New Event Information page opens.

  1. Fill in the fields as described in the table below:
    Field Name RequiredDescription
    Event CodeRequiredEnter the Event Code for the new Event.
    Event NameRequiredEnter the Event Name for the new Event.
    Copy Contents From this EventOptionalSelect the existing Event to copy.
    Copy Sessions/tracksOptionalSelect this check box to copy the sessions and tracks from the existing Event.
    Copy FeesOptionalSelect this check box to copy the fees from the existing Event.
    Copy FacultyOptionalSelect this check box to copy the faculty from the existing Event.
    Copy LocationOptionalSelect this check box to copy the location from the existing Event.
    Copy KeywordOptionalSelect this check box to copy the keyword from the existing Event.
    Copy AbstractOptionalSelect this check box to copy the abstract from the existing Event.
  2. Click the Start Copy button to copy the event and return to the Event Creation page. Click the Cancel button to lose your changes and return to the Event Creation page.
