Setting Up YM Careers

An administrator can set up the integration between the NetForum and YM Career Leads, so the staff users can benefit with leads provided by the YM Career Leads to your system.

A system option CareersIntegrationConfiguration is created that will handle the configuration part for this integration. This system option contains all the necessary fields details that is required for YM Career Integration configuration. The feature can be enabled by entering the configuration details provided by YM Careers in Current Setting text box and it can be disabled by keeping the Current Setting text box empty.

To setup YM Careers Leads Integration in NetForum:

1. Go to Admin module and expand the System Options group item.

2. Click Find System Option to search using the filters available. Or, use List System Option to locate the CareersIntegrationConfiguration system option.

3. You can make changes in the Current Setting text box field as required. The field values will be provided by the YM Career Leads for your association. Values in the Current Setting text box in the below image are for reference and not the actual ones.

   

4. Click Save. This will complete the setup part for the YM Career Integration, and it will be ready to use in NetForum environment.

Updating YM Career Lead Integration Configurations

An administrator can update the client configuration parameters if the YM Career Lead provides new parameters for an association in the future.

Note: When the CareersIntegrationConfiguration system option has no configuration data in the Current Setting text box and user tries to run the schedule task for importing the Careers leads, then system generates a below error.
