Job Board (eWeb)

Overview

The Job Board allows organizations to post employment opportunities that are viewable on eWeb.

The Job Board page allows you to:

  • Search Job Postings.

  • Post Job Announcements.

Navigating to the Job Board Page in eWeb

There are two ways to navigate to the Job Board page in eWeb.

Hover your mouse over the Extra Features tab located in the top-navigation bar on the eWeb site. This will expand the Extra Features fly out menu.

Click the Job Board hyperlink.

This will open the Job Board page.

You can also just click the Extra Features tab (rather than hovering over it) to open the Extra Features page. This page contains a listing of the extra features available on your eWeb site.

Clicking the Job Board hyperlink will also open the Job Board page.

Viewing Jobs on the eWeb Job Board

To view jobs on the eWeb Job Board, complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Job Board page.

  2. Click the Search button.

  3. Enter the search criteria for positions you may be interested in.

  4. Click the Search button.

    A listing of jobs matching your search criteria will be displayed.

    Note: To see a listing of all jobs posted, enter the wildcard sign ( %) in the Job Title field.

  5. Click on the linked Job Title of the position you are interested in to open the details page for that job.

    Click the Back to Search button to return to the search results page from your previous search.

    Click the Print Page button to print the job details page.

Posting a Job on the eWeb Job Board

To post a job on the eWeb Job Board, complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the eWeb Job Board page.

  2. Click the Post button.

  3. Complete the following fields as necessary:
    Field Name Required? Description
    Title Required Enter the job title being posted.
    Company name Required Enter the name of the company posting the job.
    Company posting URL Optional Enter the URL for the Web site of the company posting the job.
    Contact Required Enter the individual who will serve as the contact for this job posting.
    Contact email Required Enter the email address for the email to be used as the contact for this job posting.
    Keywords Required Enter keywords for the job posting that will assist users in finding it via the search page.
    Location Optional Enter the geographic location where this job will be located.
    Description Optional Enter the specific details and requirements for the job posting.
    approve date Optional Enter the date this position was approved for posting.


  4. Click the Submit Form button.

    Note: This job posting will not be visible on the eWeb Job Board until it has been approved in the CMS module in iWeb.
