Fundraising Purpose Code Overview
Purpose Codes are used to earmark money for specific causes. Purpose Codes can be created and tied to Funds so that when money is donated, it can be designated for one or more specific purposes.
For example, during a fundraising campaign to raise money for school athletic programs, separate Purpose Codes could be created for individual sports. Separate Purpose Codes would allow donors to specify which specific athletic program will receive their donations.
