Vendor Details Tab

This tab is open by default when the Vendor Record page is displayed. To return to it from any other tab, click Vendor Details on the tab bar in the middle of the Vendor Record form.

The Vendor Details tab of the Vendor Record consists of a form for entering or updating vendor details.

Vendor Details Form Fields

Name: The full name of the vendor.

Account Number: The account number assigned to the organization by the vendor. This number will print on the AP system generated check.

Status: The current status of the vendor, as a descriptive term rather than a code. Valid values for this field are Active, Inactive, and Discontinued.

Type: The type of the vendor. Select an existing value for the field from the drop-down list or enter a new string in the text box.

Class: The class of the vendor. Select an existing value for this field from the drop-down list or enter a new string in the text box.

User ID: The vendor's system user ID. User IDs are set up by the Administrator using the MIP Fund Accounting>Security>Maintain Users form.

Issue 1099: Check the box if the vendor is 1099-eligible; otherwise leave it blank.

Save: Click save when you are finished making your changes.
