Premiums are (taxable) gifts given to a donor in exchange for a (non-taxable) donation. Examples of premiums include merchandise such as a t-shirts or publications. Premiums can also include taxable portions of fundraising events or sessions such as the cost of dinner at a banquet or greens fees for a golf outing as well as memberships.
Before an item can be used as a premium it must first exist in netFORUM. For example, if you would like to award a membership to a donor for making a gift, the membership must first be set up in the Membership module.
To add a premium, complete the following steps:
