Events Overview

Overview and Setup Group Item

When you go to the Events module, the first tab you see is the overview tab. Overview is where you setup certain fields in a module. There are two main sections in the Overview page:

  • Overview
  • Setup

The Overview section of the page is divided into two parts:

  1. Links: this part of the page provides quick links to commonly used functionality in the Events Module.
  2. Chart: the chart part of the page provides a visual representation of the report that you can choose.

Links

In the links section, you can find links to commonly used functionality in the Events Module. The available links are listed below:

  • Create Event
  • Copy Event
  • New Event Wizard
  • Send Invitations
  • Find and Event
  • Register an Individual
  • Add a Location
  • Find a Location

Chart

The chart gives you a visual representation of some NetForum reports. To personalize the chart, click the graph icon for a list of reports you can run. Select your new report and click Save to see the graph representing that report.

Setup

The setup section of the page is divided into the following three parts:

  1. The Events Setup page link
  2. Recently added Events
  3. Upcoming Events

Recently Added Events

This table shows the three events that have most recent start dates. Click the linked event name to go to the event profile.

Upcoming Events

This table shows the three events that have start dates six months or more away. The event with the start date that is the farthest away is listed first. The closest event is listed last.

Click the linked event name to go to the event profile. Click the More link to open the List-Active Events page which lists all active events. See the List topic for information on using all of the features on the List-Active Events page
