Gift Opportunity Overview
A Gift Opportunity is a way of tracking potential fundraising opportunities. Gift opportunities are very similar to opportunities found in the Sales module, but gift opportunities are specific to fundraising. A Gift Opportunity can be used as an opportunity as it notes the potential of a significant financial gift for an organization.
Gift opportunities are added from the constituent profile. They can be set up to receive planned giving donations.
