Fundraising Pledge Overview
A Pledge is a commitment from a donor to pay a specified amount over a set period of time. As such, a Pledge is anticipated donation revenue. Pledge revenue may be received in one payment, or in installments over a period of time. Further, pledges may be accepted as open orders or as direct invoices that affect A/R immediately depending upon the system options you enable.
NetForum provides the ability to track solicited pledges. You can specify who has solicited the gift or pledge when adding a pledge. When the solicitor drop-down box is completed, the individual who has solicited the gift has that information noted under the Fundraising tab on his or her individual profile.
