Add and Edit Content Group Forms
Content Group Profile Page
A Content Group Profile can be opened from several places.

Click the Application Modules icon.
- Click on the Content Group.
- Select from the left navigation menu.
- Click on the Content Group.
- On the Group Item Profile, click the action items button in the upper right hand corner.
- Click Goto Group from this Item.
- On the Group Item Link Profile, click the action items button in the upper right hand corner.
- Click Goto Content Group for this Link.
Use the Content Group Profile to edit the Content Group, and to access the child forms and grandchild forms for the Content Group.
Note: The Content Group Profile and the Edit Content Group form are the same.
Fields
group name: The Content Group name that displays in the Modules menu. Duplicate group names are not allowed. This field is required.
group description: More details about the Content Group.
group order: The order in which the Content Group displays in the Modules menu and on the List Content Groups List Results page. This field is required.

Metadata Lock: If selected, the Deploy Tool will not update this record when upgrading NetForum.
Note: If you change the name of a baseline Content Group record, Abila recommends that you do not lock it. After a build upgrade, edit the record to change the name back to the desired name.
hide/disable record: If selected, this record is soft-deleted and removed from the NetForum display.
insert after save / keep values: Add additional records at this time by selecting the insert after save check box. A new Add form displays after the current record is saved. The information on the new form defaults to the information from the current record if the keep values check box is selected.

Other Items
save mode: The action performed by the the system when the Save button is clicked. The save mode is Update on the Content Group Profile.
created / updated: The record's create user and date and change user and date.
