Group Item Profile Page
- Select from the left navigation menu.
- Enter search criteria on Find Group Item form.
- Click Go.
- If more than one Group Item meets the search criteria, the List Group Item page displays. Click on the desired Group Item.
- Click on the expand/close button in the group items child form header.
- Click on the Group Item goto button.
- Click the action items menu.
- Click Goto Group Item for this Link.
Use the Group Item Profile to edit the Group Item record and to access the child forms and grandchild forms for the Group Item.
Fields
group: The Content Group to which the Group Item is linked. This field is required.
item code: The Group Item name that displays in the left navigation menu. This field is required.
item description: Details about the Group Item.
item order: The order in which the Group Item displays in the left navigation menu, from top to bottom. This field is required.
Metadata Lock: If selected, the Deploy Tool will not update this record when upgrading NetForum.
hide/disable record: If selected, this record is soft-deleted and removed from the NetForum display.
insert after save / keep values: Add additional records at this time by selecting the insert after save check box. A new Add form displays after the current record is saved. The information on the new form defaults to the information from the current record if the keep values check box is selected.

action items shortcut:
- Click Content Group Profile page for the Group Item. to access the
Other Items
save mode: The action performed by the the system when the Save button is clicked. The save mode is Update if the Profile displays the Edit Group Item form at the top, and Insert if the Profile displays Add Group Item form at the top.
created / updated: The record's create user and date and change user and date.
