Group Item Procedures

Open the Add Group Item form.
- Select from the left navigation menu and click on the Content Group.
- Click the Add button in the group items child form.
Note: If you are viewing the List Group Items page, you can open the Add Group item form by clicking the add icon in the List Page Action Links instead.
- The group will default to the name of the Content Group record. Enter the item code and item order.
- Enter an item description if desired.

Click Save to create the new Group Item.
Note: Before the new Group Item will display, you must add at least one Group Item Link to the Group Item. Then, refresh your NetForum session and clear cache if necessary.

Open the Edit Group Item form for the Group Item.
- Select from the left navigation menu and click on the Content Group.
- On the Content Group Profile page, click the expand/close button in the group items or hidden group items child form header.
- Click the Edit button for the Group Item.
- Make the desired changes.
- Click Save to save the changes.

Refresh your NetForum session and clear cache if necessary.

Open the Manage Group Items form for the Content Group.
- Select from the left navigation menu and click on the Content Group.
- On the Content Group Profile page, click the manage group items button.

Make the desired changes to one or more Group Items.
Tip: Reorder Group Items by dragging and dropping Group Item records, one at a time, into the desired order.
- Click Save to save the changes.

Refresh your NetForum session and clear cache if necessary.

Open the Edit Group Item form for the Group Item.
- Select from the left navigation menu and click on the Content Group.
- On the Content Group Profile page, click the expand/close button in the group items or hidden group items child form header.
- Click the Edit button for the Group Item.
- Select the hide/disable record flag.
- Click Save.
- If the Group Item has Group Item Link child forms
- Display the Group Item Links by clicking on the grandchild form button.
- Click the edit button for the Find Group Item Link.
- On the Edit Group Item Link form, select the hide/disable record flag.
- Click Save.

Refresh your NetForum session and clear cache if necessary.

The DeleteMethod system option must be set to hard. Otherwise, only soft deletes are permitted on your system.
- Select from the left navigation menu and click on the Content Group.
- On the Content Group Profile page, click the expand/close button in the group items or hidden group items child form header.
- Click the Group Item Delete button.

Refresh your NetForum session and clear cache if necessary.
- Select from the left navigation menu and click on the Content Group.
- On the Content Group Profile page, click the expand/close button in the group items or hidden group items child form header.
- Click the edit button for the Group Item that you want to recover.
- Clear the hide/disable record check box.
- Click Save.

Refresh your NetForum session and clear cache if necessary.
Note: The recovered Group Item will not display if it does not have Group Item Links child forms, or if the No Display flag for all the Group Item Links is checked.
