Manage Group Items Form
- Open an existing Content Group Profile page.
- In the Toolkit module, select from the left navigation menu.
- Click on the Content Group.
- Click the manage group items button.
Use the Manage Group Item form instead of the Edit Group Item form so that multiple Group Items can be edited or soft-deleted at the same time. New Group Items cannot be added by using this form.
Note: In the metadata, the description for the Manage Group Item form is Content Group Item - Sorting (Grid Def).
Fields
item code: The Group Item name that displays in the left navigation menu. This field is required.
item description: More details about the Group Item.
delete flag: Select this check box to hide/disable the Group Item. Clear it to add the Group Item back to the NetForum display.
order: A read-only field that Indicates the Group Item order on the left navigation menu.
Metadata Lock:
Important! Do not select or clear the Metadata Lock check box. It is applicable to the Content Group only.
hide/disable record:
Important! Do not select the hide/disable record check box. It is applicable to the Content Group only. To hide/disable a Group Item, select the delete flag check box to the left of the Group Item.
Buttons
The Manage Group Items form has common Toolkit buttons. See Common Toolkit Add and Edit Form Buttons for descriptions. The following buttons are also on the form.
Design Form Button | Design Form: Click this button to display the Form Designer to make changes to the Manage Group Items form layout. |
Edit Form Button | Edit Form: Click this button to display the Edit Form to make changes to the Manage Group Items form properties. |
Other Items
Filter: Click this link to display controls to filter the Group Item list by item code. Enter the filter criteria in the box and hit Enter. To remove the filter, click this link and then click the filter Delete button.
save mode: The save mode for the Content Group. This item is not applicable to the Group Items.
created / updated: The Content Group record's create user and date and change user and date. This item is not applicable to the Group Items.
