A Move represents an individual or organization being managed in a Moves Series. Moves are built on the same underlying feature of Sales Opportunities and therefore share many of the same fields, although both are managed in their own respective modules.
Most Moves will be added via a Moves Stage Scheduled Task. These tasks use a selection query or a rule set up to move people into a Moves Series and/or transfer them between Moves Stages.
However, Moves for individuals can also be manually created by adding a Move directly from netFORUM.
To manually add a Move, complete the following steps:
This will open the Add - Moves Opportunity pop-up window.
Note: Manually added Moves will also display on the customer history - not closed child form on the Moves Stage profile.
Every individual that is entered into a Moves Series will have a Moves Profile.
The Moves Profile will display the basic information about the Move, including the user assigned to the move, the customer, the moves series, the current stage, etc.
Clicking the add note icon will allow you to add a note regarding this move to the profile.
You can add a Moves Stage Assignment to this individual by clicking the add assignment icon.
To generate an invoice for this Move, click the invoice icon.
The Moves Profile contains the following tabs and child forms:
Expanding the Action tab displays several links designed to make working with the Moves profile a bit more convenient.
You can find Moves, by using the standard Find feature located on the Moves tab.
Moves Series - the Moves Series.
Moves Stage - the Moves Stage the person is in currently.
Product Type - defaults from the setting in the Series. For Series with a goal to sell an item, the Product Type can be used to set that Product Type.
Opportunity Amount - if desired, the currency amount that is the goal of a sale can be entered, if the Series has a goal of selling an item. Used for projection purposes of a sales pipeline.
Close Probability - the estimates percentage likelihood of achieving success.
Expected Revenue - the product of the Opportunity Amount and Close Probability, if both fields are entered. For example, if the opportunity amount is $1,000 and the close probability is 40 percent, then the expected revenue would be $400. This can be used if the Series has a goal of selling a product.
Next Step - not currently used.
Lists the historical movement from one stage to another. Expanding the record will display any assignments for the particular Stage.
The goal of Moves Management is to complete all the assignments for each stage.
