Setting Up the Prefix Drop-Down List
The Prefix is the title that appears before an individual's name. The prefix drop-down list appears on forms when adding or editing an individual.
Examples of prefixes: Dr., Mr., Mrs., Ms., Prof.
You can add, edit, or delete drop-down list items from the Prefixes list on the Individual tab in CRM Setup.
To add a Prefix:
- Navigate to the CRM Overview page.
- On the Overview page, click Setup.
You can also access this setup page by clicking the Administration icon > Overview > Customer Setup link.
- On the Overview and Setup page, select the Individual tab.
- On the Prefixes child form, click the ADD
icon.
- In the Name Prefix Information window, enter the Prefix.
- Click Save to add the prefix to the Prefix drop-down list in the application.
To edit a prefix:
- Click the edit
button next to the prefix you would like to edit.
- Make your changes and click Save.
To delete a prefix from the drop-down list:
- Click the delete
button next to the prefix you would like to delete.
- Click OK to confirm the deletion.
