Move
A Move represents an individual or organization being managed in a Moves Series. Moves are built on the same underlying feature of Sales Opportunities and therefore share many of the same fields, although both are managed in their own respective modules.
Adding a Move
Most Moves will be added via a Moves Stage Scheduled Task. These tasks use a selection query or a rule set up to move people into a Moves Series and/or transfer them between Moves Stages.
However, Moves for individuals can also be manually created by adding a Move directly from netFORUM.
To manually add a Move, complete the following steps:
- Expand the Module Menu and select the Moves Management option to launch the Moves Management module.
- Mouse over the Moves tab to expand the Moves fly-out menu.
- Click the Add Move link.
This will open the Add - Moves Opportunity pop-up window.
- Enter the first few letters of the individual to be assigned the Move in the customer field. You will be returned with a list of customers that meet the criteria you entered.

Product Type - defaults from the setting in the Series. For Series with a goal to sell an item, the Product Type can be used to set that Product Type.
Opportunity Amount - if desired, the currency amount that is the goal of a sale can be entered, if the Series has a goal of selling an item. Used for projection purposes of a sales pipeline.
