Maintain Chart of Accounts Form

The Maintain Chart of Accounts form displays when you select the Chart of Accounts option from the Maintenance > General Ledger submenu. Use this form to maintain Chart of Accounts codes.

Search: Enter a sequence of characters to filter the list displayed in the Chart of Accounts table.

Maintain Chart of Accounts Buttons

Add Code: Click to go to the Maintain Chart of Accounts Add Code Form.

Delete: Selecting a Chart of Accounts code from the Chart of Accounts Code table activates Delete.

List Records: Select how many items per page to display using the drop-down list. You can view items in the table in increments of 10, 20, 50, or 100.

Chart of Accounts Code Table

These are the columns available in the Chart of Accounts Code table.

Select: Click in the Select column to select Chart of Accounts codes. Click the Select check box located in the title bar of the Chart of Accounts Code Table to select all the Chart of Accounts codes in the Chart of Accounts Code Table. The Delete button activates.

Code: Lists the account code number. Click on the code number to go to the Maintain Chart of Accounts Edit Code Form.

Segment Name: Lists the account code segment name.

Status: Lists the account code status: A - Active, I - Inactive, D - Discontinued.

Title: Lists the account code title.

Short Title: Lists the account code short title.

Type: List the account code type, for example: CSH - Cash or ARO - Accounts Receivable.

Designation: List the account code designation, for example: N/A - Not Assigned or CCE - Cash and Equivalents.

Form 990 Line Number: Lists the account code Form 990 Line Number, for example: N/A - Not Assigned or 1 Pt l - Contributions, gifts, grants, and similar amounts received.

Reset Grid: The Reset Grid button will reset the specific table to its default order. See the Tips and Shortcuts page for more information on reorganizing grids.
