Maintain Distribution Codes Form

The Maintain Distribution Codes form displays when you select the Distribution Codes option from the Maintenance > General Ledger submenu. Use this form to maintain Distribution codes.

This table enables you to see your current list of distribution codes, add a new distribution code, or select an existing distribution code for detailed examination, editing, or deletion.

Search: Enter a sequence of characters to filter the list displayed in the Distribution Codes table.

Maintain Distribution Code Buttons

Add Distribution Code: Click to go to the Distribution Code Record form.

Copy: Selecting a Distribution code record from the Distribution code table activates Copy. Click Copy to open the Copy Distribution Code Form.

Delete: Selecting a Distribution Code record from the Distribution Code table activates Delete.

List Records: Select how many items per page to display using the drop-down list. You can view items in the table in increments of 10, 20, 50, or 100.

Distribution Codes Table

These are the columns available in the Distribution Codes table.

Select: Click in the Select column to select Distribution Code records. Click the Select check box located in the title bar of the Distribution Codes Table to select all the Distribution Code records in the Distribution Codes Table. The Delete and Copy buttons activate when one record is selected. The Delete button is available when multiple records are selected. Click Copy to open the Copy Closing Accounts Form.

Code: The unique ID string for the distribution code. Click the code ID to go to the Distribution Code Record form.

Description: The full distribution code description.

Status: The current status of the distribution code, as a descriptive term rather than a code. Valid values for this field are A: Active, I: Inactive, and D: Discontinued.

Apply To: The column displays if the distribution code applied to the accounting module, budget, or payroll module.

Reset Grid: The Reset Grid button will reset the specific table to its default order. See the Tips and Shortcuts page for more information on reorganizing grids.
