Usage and Instructions

CDYNE CASS certifies the address and returns all caps.

NetForumconverts the value from all CAPS to mixed (upper/lower) case in the following three fields:

  • Address Line 1
  • City
  • County

One consideration related to this is whether USPS provides discounts if the address is in all caps or mixed (upper/lower) case. Another consideration is if the CASS certification fits into a certain process involving addresses, for example before printing labels for envelopes or during a nightly batch process.

See AVS Fields for more information.

In iWeb, addresses can be corrected in different ways: upon adding a new one, when editing an existing one, or via Address Correction for multiple existing addresses.
