Contacts

Contacts
The Contacts group item houses information on customer contacts--use the options in this group item to find and add new contact account information. Data found under and added via this group item also links back to the Individuals group item tab in the CRM module. To access Contacts and its features, navigate to the Sales module and hover over the Contacts group item. The Contacts options: Find Individuals and Add Individuals will appear in a drop-down menu.

Workflow

  • Add contacts using the Add Individuals option. In the Add Individuals form, enter detailed information about the contact to be added.
  • Find and list individuals using the Find Individuals option.

Using the Contacts Group Items

Find Contacts

Search for contacts in your database by expanding the Contacts group item and clicking the Find Individuals hyperlink.

The basic Find - Individual form will load. Please visit the Find help topic for complete details on using this functionality.

Add Individuals

Add an Individual record to your database whenever there is a compelling reason to store any individual's name, address, and other contact information. Individuals that you add using this form will automatically be included in the main list of individuals across all modules on the database.

To access this option, expand the Contacts group item. Click the Add Individual hyperlink.

The Add Individual form will load. See Adding an Individual for more information about adding a new individual.

Viewing Products Purchased

In order to help evaluate the purchasing history of an account, the Products Purchased tab has been added. This tab contains the purchases child form which shows all of the products that a contact has purchased over the lifetime of the contact.

The purchases child form contains a folder for each type of product purchases by the contact. Clicking the folder icon next to a product type will expand the list to show the actual products that were purchased.

Clicking the folder icon next to a specific product, will display details about that specific purchase.

Note: The purchases child form only shows non-voided purchases.
