Shopping for Memberships

Use the Shopping Wizard to purchase a variety of products, including Memberships.

To shop specifically for membership products:

1. Navigate to the Shopping Wizard.
2. Select "Memberships" from the Shop for drop-down field. To search for a list of all memberships, leave the Search for field blank; otherwise, enter the name of the membership you wish to find.
3. Click Go.

4. Available memberships display below the search fields.  If prices for Members and for Non-Members have been set up, these will be displayed under the product name. If the customer being shopped for is not a member, the member price will be crossed out and unavailable. Select the desired membership by clicking the linked Product Name.

   The Product Details page will load. Proceed through the rest of the checkout process by following the steps outlined in Using the Shopping Wizard. The purchased membership displays on the Individual or Organization profile, under the Membership child form tab.

Membership Product Details Options

On the Product Details page for memberships you can set membership-related options, including membership dues rates, optional donations, and membership effective dates.

1. On the Product Details page, use the Dues Rate drop-down menu to select from available Dues Rates that have been set up for the Member Type. Dues rates display in descending order and can be manually sorted.
2. In the Enter Membership Information section, specify an Effective and Expiration Date for the membership being ordered.
3. Use the Donations drop-down to add a donation to the Membership.

4. Click the Add to Cart button to proceed with purchase of the membership, or click the Continue Shopping page to return to the shopping products page.
