Organization Settings

The Organization Settings form displays when you select Organization Settings from the Administration menu.

This form has these sections:

Information: Use this section to update your organization's general information.

Preferences: Use this section to set up your organization's database preferences.

Module Setup: Use this section to update your organization's module settings.

Account Level Security: Use this section to activate account level security for your organization.

Database: Use this section to review and check your organization's data and tables.

User Defined Fields: Use this section to view previously created UDFs or add new UDFs.

Attachments: Use this section to manage attachment categories.

Information

This section of the Organization Settings form is split into three tabs:

Details: Use this tab to update the details of your organization's general information.

Address: Use this tab to update your organization's address and contact information.

Segments: Use this tab to update your organization's segment information.

Setting Up SMTP and Email Functions : Information on how to set up email functions to use in MIP Cloud.

Preferences

This section of the Organization Settings form is split into five tabs:

Processing: Use this tab to update your organization's transaction, account code combination, and segment processing.

Entry Dates: Use this tab to update your organization's entry date warnings and prohibitions for transaction forms.

Session ID: Use this tab to update your organization's transaction source session IDs.

Document Number: Use this tab to update your organization's transaction source document numbers.

Analytics: Use this tab to update your organization's account sharing with the MIP Cloud team.

Module Setup

This section of the Organization Settings form is split into five tabs:

Accounts Payable: Use this tab to define the default discount code for the general ledger segment.

Accounts Receivable: Use this tab to define the default discount code for the general ledger segment.

Bank Information: Use this tab to manage bank routing numbers for Automated Clearing House (ACH) processing.

Budget: Use this tab to set up multiple budget versions.

Fixed Assets: Use this tab to define the default asset depreciation frequency, gain/loss general ledger account, asset quick entry options, and more.

Account Level Security

This section of the Organization Settings form has a single tab:

Account Level Security: Use this tab to activate account level security for your organization.

Database

This section of the Organization Settings form is split into three tabs:

Data Integrity Checks: Use this tab to run data integrity checks on selected module.

Fiscal Year: Use this tab to close fiscal years.

Default Table Structure: Use this tab to review default table structures.

User Defined Fields

This section of the Organization Settings form has a single tab:

User Defined Fields: Use this tab to view previously created user defined fields or add new user defined fields.

Attachments

This section of the Organization Settings form has a single tab:

Attachment Categories: Use this tab to manage attachment categories.
