How Do I Upload, Download, and Link to Documents?

netFORUM uses a server farm to handle the many entities and clients it services to provide maximum performance. This means that, when both association staff and their customers log-in, they are assigned a random server to use the service. This also means that when a document is uploaded it is assigned a random server to be stored on. The implication of this is when their customers log-in and try to download this document, if they have been assigned a different random server, the document may not be stored there. However, this is resolved by a process called DocumentGenerate that transfers the document for the customer dynamically as soon as it is requested. This concept is illustrated by the image below.
