What is a Customer Number?

Customer Numbers are unique identifiers that are automatically assigned to an individual or organization by the system when the record is added to the database. Customer numbers can be edited. If you want to track a different customer number, you can do so by adding an integer or string field in Demographic Setup for individuals or organizations.

Customer Numbers display in the Name & Address Information section of the Individual or Organization Profile.
