Enabling the Mac HTML Editor

A Mac HTML Editor is available to allow Mac users with Firefox or Opera browsers more functionality in HTML editing.

To enable the Mac HTML Editor:

  1. Click the CRM Group Item.
  2. Click the Home group item to expand the list of available actions.
  3. Click the My User Account hyperlink.

This will open the User Account pop-up window.

  1. Expand the Html Editor drop-down menu.

The default HTML Editor setting is to use the Rich TextBox.

  1. Click the HtmlEditor option.
  2. Click Save. The Mac HTML Editor is now enabled and will be available to you on the following forms within netFORUM Pro:
  3. All HTML forms (Such as Event Set-Up/Additional Information)
  4. Web Site Wizard Step Two (Where Homepage Content is entered)
  5. Web Site Editor - Content Tab (Where pages are edited and created - Navigation Tab has a known incompatibility)
  6. E-Marketing Wizard/Template Set-Up (As shown in image above)
  7. Communication Page (Single Recipient - From profiles)
  8. Communication Page (Multiple Recipients - From List).
If you use Windows or Internet Explorer for your browser, there is no need to enable this functionality since you already have HTML Editor support. However, if you use IE 6.0 or above and choose to change the User Option setting to HTMLEditor as described above, you will need to use the absolute path of the URL when hyperlinking in your HTML forms (as opposed to relative pathing). If an absolute path is not used, the URL link may break for your end users.
