CRM Overview
More than just a membership database, the CRM module manages all interactions with the individuals and organizations you do business with including prospects and vendors. With a customer-service focus, the CRM module aggregates data from the entire system for a complete 360-degree view of members and prospects.
Navigate to the CRM / Overview page by expanding the Modules drop-down menu in the main toolbar and selecting CRM.
The CRM / Overview page gives you the ability to:
- Add an individual record or search for a record ( Add an Individual, Find Individuals)
- Add an organization record or search for a record ( Add an Organization, Find Organizations)
- Merge and purge duplicate individual or organization records from the database (Merge and Purge)
- Process purchases for merchandise, publications, subscriptions, memberships, and event registrations (Go Shopping)
- Add a payment for an order or invoices (Add a Payment))
- Set-up CRM information and CRM drop-down lists (Setup)
- Customize Dashboard Reports
Launch Dashboard
The Launch Dashboard button will allow you to customize dashboard reports for the CRM module.
Add an Individual
The individual Personal Information page allows you to add an individual record.
Find Individuals
The Find Individual page gives you the ability to search for an individual record.
Add an Organization
The Organization Information page gives you the ability to add an organization record.
Find Organizations
The Find Organization page gives you the ability to search for an organization record.
Merge and Purge
The Combine/Merge Duplicate Records window gives you the ability to merge and purge duplicate individual or organization records from the database.
Go Shopping
The Shopping - Select Customer page allows you to select a customer and then "go shopping" for merchandise, publications, subscriptions, memberships, or event registrations. With the customer selected, click the Go to Shopping button to go to the Online Store where you can select the items for the customer's order.
Add a Payment
The Payment - Select Customer page gives you the ability to search for a customer, which locates all open orders and invoices, and then add a payment towards the order or invoice.
CRM Setup
The CRM setup tabs provide you the ability to set-up CRM information and CRM drop-down lists through a series of child forms. Note: You may use the CRM Setup Wizard to guide you through the setup process if you are unfamiliar with the tabs and child forms.
